After years of studying theory, practicing her craft, and dreaming of worlds beyond her own, Sydney Kate Lewis, more commonly known as SK, finds her voice by dwelling on the things and people she loves. Lost among these dreams and this love, she continues to find herself with a pen in hand, ready to create something grander than she had previously imagined. Muses come and go, but her voice, her purpose, and her dreams remain for no other reason than to do for others what others’ words have done for her. With a firm belief that words can change and save the world, SK intends to try just that with each story, each poem, and each article she writes.
Since graduating from the University of Georgia in December of 2020, SK has explored various occupations. Presently, she works as a freelance writer for Fayette County and East Cobb City Lifestyle, while also serving as associate editor for East Cobb City Lifestyle. Additionally, she contributes monthly blog posts to ValetPress's "Behind the Line" segment and serves as social media manager for The Eden Project. If those aren't enough to keep her entertained, SK has also crafted a collection of fourteen short stories about love found when least expected, which is set to be released in 2025. As a result, she has essentially moved into Foxtail Coffee, where they know her black coffee order by heart, in order to get all her work done.
Should she ever not be writing, SK can be found wherever there is live music.
