After years of studying theory, honing her craft, and dreaming of worlds beyond her own, Sydney-Kate Lewis, more commonly known as SK, found her voice by reflecting on the people and things she loves. Lost in these dreams and this love, she continues to find herself with a pen in hand, ready to create something grander than ever before.
Muses come and go, but her voice, her purpose, and her dreams remain for no other reason than to do for others what others’ words have done for her. With a firm belief that words can change and even save the world, SK strives to do just that with each story, poem, and article she writes.
When she’s not writing, you’ll find SK wherever there’s live music.
Since graduating from the University of Georgia in December 2020, SK somehow found herself adopted into the world of marketing despite holding a BA in English.
She currently works as a freelance writer for Fayette County Lifestyle and East Cobb City Lifestyle, satisfying her writing itch by collecting others' stories through interviews and personal involvement.
Additionally, she serves as the social media manager, grant writer, and all-around utility player for The Eden Project, a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans in reintegration after service.
Subsequently, she has practically moved into Foxtail Coffee, where they know her black coffee order by heart.
